The Chester County Planning Commission (CCPC) will host the 2022 Transportation Forum, "Trails, Transit, and Tractor Trailers" on Thursday, September 22, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the West Whiteland Township Building in Exton, and via Zoom.

The forum will feature an engaging discussion and status updates on county-wide transportation planning efforts and initiatives presented by CCPC's Multimodal Transportation Planning Division. Presentations will include Kristen Scudder, DVRPC's Freight Program Manager discussing the Chester County Freight Plan; Natasha Manbeck from McMahon Associates presenting 'Building Better Bus Stops'; and Steve Buck, CCPC Trails Planner, providing a kickoff overview of the Chester County Trails Master Plan.

CCPC's annual transportation forum serves as a great opportunity for those who are interested in learning about Chester County's transportation planning activities, and is open to anyone who would like to attend such as municipal staff, partners, and those affiliated with transportation organizations.

"With transportation playing such an important role in our day to day lives, we're looking forward to discussing current projects and hearing from municipalities about Chester County's transportation initiatives," noted CCPC's Multimodal Transportation Planning Director, Brian Styche. "Chester County's new Complete Streets Policy, for example, has been adopted by eight municipalities so far, but we hope to increase that number by having these important discussions."
