Twice a year, the Chester County Planning Commission (CCPC) hosts Planners' Forums providing the opportunity to hear about current planning topics and network with fellow planners. The latest forum took place on Tuesday, October 18, marking CCPC's final Planners' Forum of the year and fourteenth overall.

The Fall 2022 forum took place at the nth Innovation Center in Coatesville and via Zoom, welcoming more than 90 attendees for a lively morning discussion. As always, the event began with a networking session over coffee, followed by presentations and Q&A.

Sonia Huntzinger, Executive Director of Second Century Alliance, kicked off the forum by sharing some exciting economic development initiatives and projects happening in Coatesville. Next, Kathryn Evans, Executive Director of the Church Housing Corporation, provided a developer's perspective on working with local municipalities on affordable housing. And lastly, Hillary Krummrich, Chester County's Agricultural Development Director, highlighted different ways local municipalities can implement the county’s new ag economic development strategy.

"Many thanks to all the presenters and to Susan Springsteen of nth Solutions for hosting the event and providing a fascinating tour of the facilities after the forum," noted CCPC's Executive Director, Brian O'Leary.
